“I wanted to reach out to compliment your crew. First, I can’t stand flying. As I was broadcasting a pretty entertaining Ohio win, in the back of my mind I’m thinking about the high winds/turbulence/how scared of the flight I was. The crew knew I wasn’t a big fan of flying. When I got on the plane, the pilot said it would be fine and gave me a confident smile. The flight attendant took the time to tell me about what to expect, made me laugh, and checked on me before takeoff and again during the flight. It might seem small, but that was very much appreciated. I get to broadcast sports for a living and they made it possible for me to get through a flight I dreaded by going the extra mile. Thanks for running a company that values employing people like them!”
